John 7

I am finally getting back to writing. We listened to John 7 while driving, and verses 17 and 18 gave me pause.

17Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether my teaching is from God or is merely my own.  18Those who speak for themselves want glory only for themselves, but a person who seeks to honor the one who sent him speaks truth, not lies. ‘
John 7:17-18

Our everyday goal should be to do God’s will. Chasing our own pleasures, titles, money, and things, needs to be secondary.

It is going to replace the old way of doing things, a new way to get right with God. No more repeated sacrifices, one perfect sacrifice. This New Promise is…
