Judging Sickness

“Don’t drink only water. You ought to drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach because you are sick so often.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭5‬:‭23‬

I’ve heard some people say that if you are a Christian, you won’t get sick. But Timothy had stomach issues — “You are sick so often”. For whatever reason, God didn’t heal Timothy. We don’t always get our miracles or what we want. The Lord is our shepherd; he knows what’s best for us. God still works miracles; he still sets the captives free. As Christians, we do have authority over the enemy, and God can heal people through our prayers and intercession. But in the end, everything and everyone belongs to Him, and nobody knows his mysterious plans completely.

We can’t be quick to judge people and the battles they face. Maybe they are praying for deliverance and for miracles.
