Psalms 119, Part 4

I seemed to gravitate towards Psalms 119:164 in today’s reading. I’m thinking, if I set alerts on my phone, with different verses, how would that affect my day? Time to experiment.

‘I will praise you seven times a day because all your regulations are just.’

  1. When we wake up
‘This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. ‘
    Psalms 118:24
  2. Before getting ready for work
‘”Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!” ‘
    Isaiah 6:3
  3. Mid-morning
“Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
    John 1:29
  4. Midday
‘I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?
    Psalms 56:4
  5. Afternoon
“Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.”
    Psalms 68:19
  6. Evening
“Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Praise God in highest Heaven!”
    Matthew 21:9
  7. Before Bed
Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.
    Psalms 66:20

And it seems this has been much…

The mob strikes again, chasing Paul all over the place in Acts 17.
