I’m Matt Fitzwater, I’m a Christ follower, husband, dad, and a Deacon at Driftwood Christian Church. You’ll find out fast: I’m not a preacher, a Bible scholar, or by any means eloquent, but I journal every day. This blog is mostly about my thoughts on what I’m reading and the projects I’m working on. We live on a farm in southern Indiana, near Clear Spring. We have a variety of animals, and when we aren’t working, we ride and camp with our horses.

I read the entire Bible last year, and my goal is to read it every year. Studies show that there are many benefits to reading the Bible. I challenged my friends, family, and church family to read it in 2026. Here’s the plan I’m doing this year. And here I am speaking about it at church, I come on at about 8 minutes.
